About
This work is the direct result of years of my life traveling, teaching, and working in Central and South America. While teaching fourth grade in Costa Rica, I began to study traditional methods of metalworking and macrame. I subsequently traveled to Peru where I furthered my education.
I have always been enamored with natural minerals and fossils, and these materials often serve as inspiration for the pieces to be created. All of my pieces are handmade, and feature genuine semiprecious stones.
My goal is to use time-honored techniques in the service of contemporary craft and fashion, to bridge between ancient art and modern style. I aim to create pieces as beautiful and unique as the people who will wear them.
